Patricia L. Carrell Graduate Student Travel

Purpose

To provide an annual travel award to a graduate student in the department who will be presenting an academic paper at a national conference.

Scholarship Criteria

• Must be a graduate student in the Department of Applied Linguistics and ESL
• Must be presenting a data-based research paper at a national conference, having a copy of the paper or detailed abstract being reviewed by the scholarship committee.
• Must have a 3.5 GPA in graduate studies at the University.
