McGill Family Perseverance Award

Purpose

To provide financial support to a student(s) at Georgia State University who has persevered through hardship.

Scholarship Criteria

It is preferred that the recipient(s) of the award(s) meet the following criteria:

• Be a junior or senior level student.
• Have a GPA of 2.7 or higher.
• Answer the following: Explain an obstacle you have faced and how you have persevered through it. How will this award boost your success?
• Provide a reference.

All things being equal, preference will be given to students who have served in the U.S. military or who have an interest to serve in the future.
