Rick Anderson Scholarship

Purpose

To provide scholarship support to students in the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies.

Scholarship Criteria

• Current undergraduate student at the sophomore, junior or senior level pursing a degree in the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies.
• Students should have a demonstrated, significant financial need.
• Students should demonstrate commitment to community service.
• Students should demonstrate potential for academic success.
• All things being equal, priority given to first-generation college students or international students.
• To be considered, students must complete the application in its entirety with essay component.

Applicants must answer the following:

• Can you explain the significance to your future if you were to receive this award?
• Please describe your plans upon graduation from Georgia State and how you intend to pay your scholarship forward.
