Perimeter College Military Outreach Scholarship

Purpose

To provide an annual scholarship to a Perimeter College student for tuition; fees; books; educational expenses.

Scholarship Qualifications

• Enrolled in at least 12 credit hours.
• Perimeter College who is a veteran or a dependent of a veteran.
• Have a demonstrated financial need as determined by the office of Financial Aid.
• Submit a letter of recommendation from a Perimeter College Staff/Faculty member or non-related professional.
• Will submit DD-214 form or Active-Duty ID card; if the student is a dependent, they must provide proof in the form of one of the following: current military dependent ID card, parent’s DD2I4, parent’s military orders bearing the student’s name, or other verifiable proof of student’s veteran dependent status.
• Submit essay response (maximum of 500 words):
  -Please write an essay describing how being associated with the military has made a difference in your life.
