David W. Boykin Graduate Fellowship in Medicinal Chemistry

Purpose

To provide support to a Ph.D. graduate student in chemistry who will conduct research in medicinal/organic chemistry

Scholarship Criteria

Eligibility for the David Withers Boykin Graduate Fellowship in Medicinal Chemistry will be based on the following criteria:

  • A minimum grade point average of 3.0;
  • The type and quality of research in medicinal chemistry the candidate plans to undertake or is currently undertaking (research must be primarily focused in medicinal/organic chemistry);
  • The candidate’s statement of academic/research goals and interests;
  • A letter of recommendation for the fellowship that addresses the candidate’s research ability/potential in medicinal chemistry.
