Allen and Eleanor Hollingsworth Scholarship

Purpose

To provide scholarships to entering or first-year students in the master’s degree program in gerontology.

Scholarship Criteria

The scholarship will be awarded to a student who meets the following criteria:

• Has an outstanding academic record;
• Shows a commitment to improving the quantity and quality of life for older people through internship experience, volunteering, or other experiences that the committee deems appropriate; and
• Shows potential for leadership in the field of aging through a letter of recommendation from a faculty member in the CENTER.
