J. Rhodes Haverty Scholarship

Purpose

To provide support to students entering the master´s level public health program at Georgia State University, with a focus on students who show a real passion for public health and show promise as a future public health leader in Georgia.

Scholarship Criteria

The recipient(s) of the award must be

  • Legal residents of the State of Georgia,
  • Be entering the Masters in Public Health program at Georgia State University,
  • Be in good academic standing with an incoming grade point average of 3.0 or higher,
  • Remain in good academic standing as preference will be given to the current recipient for the second year funding,
  • Have a demonstrated financial need as determined by the Office of Financial Aid.
