Bobbye Underwood Scout Scholarship

Purpose

To provide support to students at the sophomore, junior or senior level at Georgia State University.

Scholarship Criteria

The recipient(s) of the scholarship must meet the following criteria:

• Be in good academic standing at Georgia State University.
• Be a sophomore, junior or senior level student.
• Have a current 3.0 or higher GPA.
• Have a demonstrated financial need as determined by the Office of Financial Aid.

Preference will be given to student(s) who were members of the Boy/Girl Scouts of America and progressed to the highest-level Eagle Scout/Gold Scout in either program.

Should the Boy/Girl Scouts of America or its successor cease to exist, the Scout 12 principals/core values will be used as much as possible in selecting a recipient of the award.
