Ernest Elwood Wright Jr. Scholarship
Purpose
To make annual scholarship awards to deserving Georgia State University students each academic year.
Scholarship Criteria
Eligibility for the scholarship awards shall be as follows:
- Recipient must have a need for financial assistance to help complete his or her education, as established by the GSU Office of Student Financial Services.
- Recipient must have a strong drive and commitment to complete his or her education.
- Recipient must show satisfactory academic ability by having a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale, which is equivalent to a C+.
- Preference should be given to students from communities from outside the metropolitan Atlanta area.
