African-American Alumni Club Scholarship

Purpose

To provide an annual scholarship of up to $1,000 to an undergraduate student in the COAS for tuition, fees, books and/or other expenses incurred by an undergraduate student.

Scholarship Criteria

The recipient(s) of the award(s) must meet the following criteria:

• Be in good academic standing in the College of Arts and Sciences
• Have earned a current minimum GPA of 3.0
• Have a demonstrated financial need as determined by the GSU Office of Financial Aid
• Have demonstrated significant community service as determined by a short essay submitted as part of the award application process.
