Emily Abbitt Woodrum Scholarship on African American Culture

Purpose

To provide scholarship support to a student enrolled at Georgia State University Perimeter College with a demonstrated interest in African American Culture.

Scholarship Qualifications

• Have earned a 2.5 or higher GPA in high school or Perimeter College.
• Submit a letter of recommendation from a Perimeter College Staff/Faculty member or High School Faculty.
• Submit essay response (maximum 500 words):
  -Please write an essay describing your interest in the study of African American life and culture.
