Lovell and Rev. Terri Lemons Servant Leader Scholarship

Purpose

To provide scholarship support to the development of the next generation of servant leaders who are a rising junior, senior or graduate student in good academic standing at Georgia State University and attending classes full or part-time on the Atlanta Campus. The student must also be an active volunteer and participant in the service activities of the Office of Civic Engagement to qualify for the scholarship.

Scholarship Criteria

The recipient(s) of the award must also meet the following criteria:

• Have a 2.5 or higher GPA.
• Provide documented evidence of their volunteer service.
• Provide a written recommendation letter from a current staff member in the Office of Civic Engagement.

All things being equal, preference will be given to students who have a demonstrated financial need as determined by the office of Financial Aid.
