Marcia Baker Carroll and Almand "Bo" Carroll Scholarship

Purpose

To provide annual scholarships to eligible students who meet the criteria below:

Scholarship Criteria

• Must have applied to Georgia State prior to, or concurrent with, applying for the scholarship.
• Have a minimum high school GPA of a 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale).
• Have demonstrated achievement in academic areas through achieving a minimum SAT 1 score of 1150 or a minimum ACT composite score of 27.
• Maintain full-time enrollment at Georgia State, and a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 during freshman and sophomore years, and 3.2 cumulative GPA during junior and senior years to remain eligible for the full award.
• Has demonstrated financial need.

Preference given to students who held a job while in high school.
