Amwins Student Leadership Scholarship

Purpose

To provide scholarship support to undergraduate student(s) in the J. Mack Robinson College of Business Department of Risk Management & Insurance (the ‘’RMI Department’’) who have reached the sophomore level or above with a demonstrated financial need. The recipient will have outstanding character, demonstrate academic achievement, be active in the community, and demonstrate a special interest in the role men and women of color hold in business.

Scholarship Criteria

The recipient(s) of the award(s) must:

• Be in good academic standing at GSU with a GPA of 2.7 or higher.
• Be a current sophomore level student or higher level student enrolled in the RMI Department as a pre-major or major.
• Have a demonstrated financial need as determined by the GSU Office of Financial Aid or the Scholarship Committee (as defined below).
• Demonstrate a skill set and/or interest in pursuing a career as an insurance broker ("Broker’’).
