Judge Debra Halpern Bernes Memorial Scholarship in Law

Purpose

To provide financial assistance to law students enrolled at Georgia State University College of Law. There is no minimum GPA requirement for awarding scholarships.

Scholarship Criteria

The recipient(s) of the award(s) must meet the following criteria:

• Be a recently-admitted student or a continuing law student.
• Be in good standing at the Georgia State University College of Law.
• Have indicated a desire to include public service or public entity representation as part of his/her legal career, and
• Be community service oriented, believing that community and public service should be a high priority in life.
