Social Work-CPUA Scholarship

Purpose

To provide scholarship awards to students who are enrolled in good standing in an undergraduate or graduate academic program in the Department of Social Work.

Scholarship Criteria

All students selected for this scholarship must meet the following specific criteria:

• The recipient must be a currently enrolled student at Georgia State University who is majoring in a Department of Social Work program.
• The recipient must demonstrate merit for assistance in a letter of application and a statement of goals.
• The recipient must demonstrate a combination of scholastic merit and financial need, with financial need being determined by the Office of Student Financial Aid.
• The recipient must maintain a grade point average of 3.0 or better during the period of the award or must maintain the minimum grade point average for their degree program, whichever is higher.
