VFW Post 10822 Scholarship

Purpose

To provide an annual scholarship to a Perimeter College student for tuition; fees; books; educational expenses.

Qualifications

• Be a full-time or part-time student at Perimeter College who is a veteran who was honorably discharged from the military, or currently serving on active duty in the National Guard or Reserves.
• Enrolled in at least 6 credit hours.
• Have a demonstrated financial need as determined by the office of Financial Aid.
• Will submit DD-214 form or verification of current military status.
• Submit a letter of recommendation from a Perimeter College Staff/Faculty member or non-related professional.
• Submit essay response (maximum of 500 words):
  -Please write an essay describing why you joined the military.
