Olga May Douglas Scholarship

Purpose

To provide scholarship(s) support to student(s) who are currently enrolled at Perimeter College and are pursuing a degree in Business. Funds for the scholarship were provided by Ingrid Thompson-Sellers in honor of her mother, Olga Mary Douglas.

Scholarship Criteria

The recipient(s) of the award must:

• Be a non-traditional single parent in good academic standing having completed at least 15 credit hours, be currently enrolled for 6 credit hours with a 3.0 or higher GPA and be majoring in Business
• Submit a letter of recommendation from a faculty member of Perimeter College
• Submit documented proof of community/volunteer service and an essay describing their academic and career goals and how receiving this scholarship will help attain those goals
• Submit a personal statement of financial need, and have a demonstrated financial need as determined by the Office of Financial Aid
